About SpiceJet

SpiceJet is an Indian low-cost airline headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana. It is the second largest airline in the country by number of domestic passengers carried, with a market share of 13.6% as of March 2019. The airline operates 630 daily flights to 64 destinations, including 54 Indian and 15 international destinations from its hubs at Delhi and Hyderabad.

In Oct-2020, SpiceJet was in the process of obtaining an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) for the launch of Ras Al Kahimah operations. Ras Al Khaimah International Airport CEO expects the carrier could launch scheduled services from Delhi and Mumbai by the end of Nov-2020 or the beginning of Dec-2020, under a travel bubble agreement between India and UAE. In Jan-2021, SpiceJet announced plans to commence twice weekly Mumbai-Ras Al Khaimah service on 15-Jan-2021.
